Why do we plan?
Planning your day and perfectly abiding by it, can help you to release stress. Can you work all day without relaxing? Certainly not.
Therefore, have leisure hours to relax your body. It’s better to carefully plan and to take your time with everything.
As powerful as we know Him to be, God had leisure hours; He set aside a day to rest. He did not create the whole universe in one day. In fact, we were told that He had a work schedule by which He’d followed to undertake each day’s work. Read that here;
And God said, “Let there be light’’….And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” So God made the vault and separated the water…And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.
Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and…And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.
Gen. 1:3-11 NIV.
In fact, it was a whole week-schedule. He planned that week, knowing exactly what to do on each day, and He perfectly executed them.
When it was time to close for each day’s work, He stopped and allowed the nights to pass just so that He could rest; then He continued the following day.
Everything was planned and was in order; God rested every evening after executing His creative works, but had reserved one full day (on the 7th day), to give Himself complete rest.
Now, what that means is that, if He hadn’t planned this first week of life, He wouldn’t have executed anything, neither would He have had enough time to rest.
One of the reasons why we fail in life and not able to execute our life’s works very well, is because we fail to plan like our Father did. As well, there are those who though they plan their weeks, they do not make a time for themselves to rest. Before long, they become stressed up and then they break down, completely.
So then, if we want to achieve successful results as our Father, then we should learn how to plan our days, weeks and months, while observing times of rest at the nights and on the weekends.
We obtain a great deal of wisdom of how God had done it, and so we should equally emulate Him in carrying about our life’s works, just as He did.
You’ll overcome stress by following that specific plan.
Thank you.
